School

Sri Adwayananda Public School is a private, non-sectarian English-medium school located in Malakkara, Kerala in Pathanamthitta District. The school started in 1987 and has 3 campuses offering Kindergarten through Twelfth Standard. Currently the school prepares students for the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE, ISC) and is also affiliated with the IGCSE/AS/A (Cambridge) syllabus.

Since 2005 Sri Adwayananda Public School has offered a U.S. high school diploma in affiliation with Clonlara School (Michigan USA). In addition to the school’s ICSE and ISC streams, the Clonlara option allows children to have greater flexibility in curriculum and an ongoing assessment which is based on examinations, project work, homework and self-assessment.

The Association of Indian Universities has recognised the Clonlara diploma through Sri Adwayananda Public School as equivalent to the Plus-Two accreditation of the Indian system for admission to Indian universities.

More than 30 students have chosen this stream and gone on to higher studies in reputable institutions in India and abroad, and on into careers as varied as engineering, hotel management and product design.

Within the school the stream is envisioned as an accelerated, high-level program focused on knowledge and skills preparation for higher studies and beyond, with an emphasis on developing individual talents and potential.
