Ninth International Colloquium

July 31- August 2, 2021

We want to thank all alumni, teachers, students of Sri Adwayananda Public School along with eminent guests and our fellow organisers from India and around the world for joining and making possible the Eighth International Colloquium and first virtual edition this August 1-3,2020. During these times, it was especially meaningful for us to welcome an excellent and diverse panel of guests spanning several continents including Mr. Steven Slater, Dr. Barry Rodrigue, Professor Debashis Chatterjee, Mrs. Chandra M. Nicol, Mr. Dilip Kottapadath, Mrs. Luisa Munaretto, Dr. Craig Benjamin, Mr. Prashant Dhawan and Mrs. Seema Anand.

We appreciate the time taken by guests to meet our alumni by joining dynamic Zoom calls and connecting over questions of the day including what in their education and life experiences had prepared them for the challenges of 2020. During the virtual Colloquium, students had the rare opportunity to take a virtual tour of a vintage aircraft hangar outside of London, interview the eminent archaeologist and historian Dr. Barry Rodrigue, and receive a master class on Biomimicry and its increasing relevance in this decade.

Sri Adwayananda Public School (English-medium) continues to be online since the beginning of the 2020-2021 academic year and we have created a fund specifically to address the school’s technology needs.

Technology Support for Remote Learning

As the school transitions to online learning across three campuses, we are facing a critical shortage of computer software and hardware.

On our wish list:

  • Desktop units for the computer labs
  • Laptops for in-class research
  • Tablets for the younger students, along with licensed Windows operating systems
  • Video projectors

Your contributions are welcomed to help us sustain the standard of computer technology needed to support our Cambridge IGCSE curriculum.

As a registered charitable society with tax exemption in India, Alliance Educational Foundation subsidizes the education of each child and welcomes your support.
