Sri Adwayananda Public School Hosts Interactive Workshop on AI Agents and Emerging Technologies
As part of its commitment to preparing students for a rapidly changing world, Sri Adwayananda Public School recently hosted an engaging online workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) Agents and Multi-Agent Systems led by Mr. Piyush Tamaskar, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Arios AI. With more than 12 years of experience in artificial intelligence, data, and enterprise transformation, Mr. Tamaskar brought real-world insights from his work with organizations including Deloitte, Nagarro, and HSBC.
The session introduced high school students and teachers to one of the most exciting developments in technology today: agentic AI. Unlike traditional AI systems that respond to prompts, AI agents are designed to pursue goals, make decisions, use tools, and continuously adapt based on new information. Through relatable examples and live demonstrations, students gained a practical understanding of how these technologies are transforming industries around the world.
One of the highlights of the workshop was a live demonstration of AI-powered voice agents. Students watched as an AI travel assistant created a personalized eight-day Kerala itinerary through a natural conversation. Another demonstration showcased a multilingual enterprise voice agent capable of switching seamlessly between Hindi and English while scheduling business meetings. These examples illustrated how AI is increasingly being used to automate complex workflows and enhance customer experiences.
The workshop also explored important questions about responsibility, safety, and ethics in AI. Students actively participated in discussions on cybersecurity, deepfakes, misinformation, and the need for human oversight in sensitive decision-making. Mr. Tamaskar emphasized that while AI is a powerful tool, its impact depends on how people choose to use it. Security guardrails, responsible governance, and human-in-the-loop systems remain essential for ensuring that technology serves society positively.
Students were encouraged to begin building foundational skills for the future, including Python programming, SQL, and an understanding of emerging AI frameworks. The session highlighted the importance of curiosity, continuous learning, and responsible innovation in a technology-driven world.
